Dior women's perfume in Morocco: which of the 5 to choose?
J'adore, Miss Dior, Blooming Bouquet, Miss Dior Essence or Hypnotic Poison: how to choose your Dior women's perfume in Morocco, 10ml decants from 150 MAD.

With Dior, the problem isn't finding a good perfume. It's knowing which one is yours, when three of them are called "Miss Dior" and still don't smell alike.
The MYF catalog carries five Dior women's fragrances: J'adore, Hypnotic Poison, and three Miss Diors. We put them in order, say who each one is for, and save you from the 1,500 MAD bottle that ends up at the back of a drawer.

The overview
| Fragrance | Year | Concentration | Profile | Performance | Bottle | 10ml decant |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| J'adore | 1999 | Eau de parfum | Sunny floral bouquet | Strong | 1,500 MAD | 150 MAD |
| Miss Dior | 2017 | Eau de parfum | Rosy floral, peony | Moderate | 1,500 MAD | 155 MAD |
| Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet | 2023 | Eau de toilette | Fresh floral, sweet pea | Moderate | 1,450 MAD (100ml) | 150 MAD |
| Miss Dior Essence | 2025 | Eau de parfum | Fruity, jasmine, oak base | Strong | 2,150 MAD (80ml) | 200 MAD |
| Hypnotic Poison | 1998 | Eau de parfum | Almond, vanilla, sandalwood | Strong | 1,500 MAD | 150 MAD |
First takeaway: four of the five sit around 1,500 MAD a bottle. Price won't decide for you. What decides is the time of day you plan to wear it.
The Miss Dior trap: three perfumes, one name
This is where most of the confusion comes from. "Miss Dior" is a line, not a perfume. Each version has its own formula, and they don't play in the same category at all.
Miss Dior (eau de parfum, 2017) — the heart of the line. Bergamot and mandarin up top, then a very floral heart of peony, rose, Damask rose and lily of the valley, resting on white musk, vanilla and cedar. It's the most "complete" version: rosy, slightly soft at the base, elegant without overdoing it. Moderate performance, suited to the office and formal occasions.
Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet (eau de toilette, 2023) — the light version. The formula is shorter: bergamot and sweet pea, peony and Damask rose, and only white musk in the base. No vanilla, no cedar. The result is fresher, sheerer, more "cut flowers". It's also the only eau de toilette of the five, and the only one offered in two sizes: 1,450 MAD for 100ml, 1,790 MAD for 150ml.
Miss Dior Essence (eau de parfum, 2025) — the outlier. It borrows almost nothing from the other two: blackberry, elderflower and marmalade in the opening, a double jasmine (sambac and jasmine) heart, oak and woods in the base. Rose and peony are no longer in front. This is a fruity, woody Miss Dior, darker and denser, with strong performance. It's also the most expensive of the group: 2,150 MAD for the 80ml bottle.
To stop mixing them up
Blooming Bouquet = the freshest, for daytime and heat. Miss Dior = the elegant rose, in between. Essence = the deepest, dark fruit and woods, for making an impression. Loving one doesn't mean you'll love the others: test them.
J'adore: the floral that goes anywhere
J'adore is the most versatile of the five. Bergamot, pear, melon and magnolia on top, a heart of jasmine, rose, tuberose and lily of the valley where no single flower dominates, and a base of musk, vanilla, blackberry and cedar.
What sets it apart from Miss Dior: where Miss Dior centres on rose and peony, J'adore is a broader, brighter bouquet, with tuberose giving it body. Strong performance, and an unusually wide range of use: daily, office, date and formal evenings all appear on its listing.

Dior J'adore Eau de Parfum
Dior’s sunny floral bouquet, strong performance, from the office to a wedding — 1,500 MAD a bottle, 150 MAD a decant.
If you were to own just one Dior, this is it. It works as well on a weekday morning in Casablanca as at a Saturday night wedding.
Hypnotic Poison: the evening option
Hypnotic Poison is the opposite of Blooming Bouquet. Almond, caraway and jasmine on top, jasmine, mimosa and lily of the valley in the heart, and a base of vanilla, sandalwood, musk and cedar. The almond and vanilla make it warm, round, almost gourmand, far from the freshness of the Miss Diors.
Its listing places it for dates and relaxing moments: a close-range, evening perfume, not a 9 a.m. meeting one. Strong performance. It comes into its own in winter, or on Ramadan evenings, when the air cools and a warm scent no longer weighs you down.
Mind the heat
In the height of a Moroccan summer, an almond-vanilla scent with strong performance can quickly turn heavy, especially indoors. One or two sprays are enough. For 35 °C days, Blooming Bouquet is the house's safest choice.
If vanilla notes are what draw you in, our vanilla and gourmand selection goes further in that direction.
Which one for your profile
- You want one perfume for everything: J'adore. The widest range of use, strong performance.
- You work in an office and want to stay discreet: Miss Dior (eau de parfum). Moderate performance, a clean rose, never overpowering.
- You run hot and like fresh scents: Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. The only eau de toilette, the lightest formula.
- You want to be noticed in the evening: Hypnotic Poison. Almond, vanilla, sandalwood.
- You already know Miss Dior and want something else: Miss Dior Essence. Same name, different world: dark fruit, jasmine, oak.
- You want a perfume that lasts all day: J'adore, Essence or Hypnotic Poison, all three rated strong. For more, see our long-lasting fragrances guide.
Gifting a Dior: which is the safest bet?
Giving perfume means betting on someone else's taste. With Dior, the bets aren't equal.
- The safest: J'adore. Floral, bright, versatile: the profile least likely to disappoint.
- For a young woman or a first perfume: Miss Dior or Blooming Bouquet. Two fresh, soft florals, easy to wear.
- For someone whose taste you know: Hypnotic Poison or Essence. Two bolder signatures that people either love or don't.
The no-risk gift
Not sure of her taste? Give two or three 10ml decants instead of a bottle. Three Dior decants cost between 450 and 505 MAD, about a third of the price of one bottle, and she picks the full size herself. More ideas in our perfume gift guide.
And for him?
If you're shopping for him too, Dior Homme Intense (2011, eau de parfum) is the natural counterpart to J'adore and Miss Dior: refined rather than showy. Lavender on top, iris and amber in the heart, vetiver and leather in the base. Strong performance, made for the office, dates and dressy occasions. The 150ml bottle is 1,550 MAD, the 10ml decant 145 MAD.
The whole house is on the Dior page.
Where to start
Don't start with a bottle. The three Miss Diors in particular look alike on paper and not at all on skin.
- If you're torn between the Miss Diors: take Miss Dior and Blooming Bouquet in 10ml (305 MAD), wear each for two or three days. Add Essence (200 MAD) if you want to see the darker version.
- If you're torn between day and night: J'adore and Hypnotic Poison in 10ml, 300 MAD for both.
- Once you have a winner, move to the bottle.
A 10ml decant is one to two weeks of daily wear: enough to judge performance in real conditions, at work and in the evening. We explain why in our 10ml decants guide.
